Sunday
If you are new to church or haven’t been in church for a while, we know that going to “church” can seem awkward. We want to do whatever we can to make this place feel like home to you. Hopefully, this page will help answer some questions before you come to Cedar Ridge for the first time.
At Cedar Ridge, we like to keep it simple. We are committed to 3 things. Love God, love people & serve the world. We hope that your coming to a Sunday morning might be a “first step” in your journey to love God.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
That is always a big question. At Cedar Ridge, probably whatever you wore on Saturday, will be just fine on Sunday.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
Each Sunday we gather to express our love to God through different forms of “worship.” We sing songs that express our thoughts of God’s greatness. We listen as a teacher explains a part of the Bible and why it is relevant to our lives today. We take communion together to remember that Jesus died for all mankind and that he is coming back again. We reflect on all of these things and consider how our lives can be encouraged, challenged and transformed to be more like Jesus.
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
Your children are important to you and to us. During both our 9:05am and 11:05am worship services, we have designed different learning experiences for your children. We have a safe and fun learning environment. Our workers have gone through safety screenings and are ready and excited to work with your kids. For more information on children's ministries and KidStuf, please click on the student tab above.
We hope that you will come to one of our Sunday morning worship services (9:05am & 11:05am) and have a cup of coffee, engage in a good conversation and gain a fresh perspective on life.
